    Now we are in the deep end of the pool.

    Air strikes are now being made in Syria..as we beginning to wage real war...(thinking about Walter Winchell,as we entered ww2)

      I can't say I feel particularly bad about bombing the crap out of ISIL.

          Well if the government wants to wage war all over the middle east I say let them as long as they keep me out of it, I just hope this go around people expect retaliation from isil I think if we bomb them they just might bomb us

            The unfortunate thing is that you will become involved in it whether you like it or not - not due to retaliation, but because the whole purpose and reason of a terrorist organization (and ISIL is a MASSIVE, INCREDIBLY WELL FUNDED terrorist organization) is to dump their shit in your yard.

            Do nothing, and they will bring terror to you because you've done nothing and allowed it to happen. Do something, and they will bring terror to you, because, after provocateur acts of terrorism, they now have an utter bullshit excuse to do it.

            We live in a time when it is vital to understand what terrorists are, and how they operate. They are not reasonable, they are not rational, they have no clear agenda other than the destruction of stable societies. There are no safe choices when dealing with terrorists.

                  In many ways,WE,the western countries are still playing at "Manifest Destiny" mind sets. And everyone keeps thinking "Our way or the highway"

                  I have decided to now step away from the whole human mindset that the Earth is ours to destroy as we please.... You kids get off my planet......

                    It's not manifest destiny to look at the utter horrid abuse of human rights and say ENOUGH. How can we stand back and let this happen?

                    I'm just pissed we aren't sending in people to Nigeria to kill the hell out of Boko Haram first, those waste of flesh, garbage bastards.

                      it is not that we are defending from terrorists but having to clean up after many hundreds of years of conquest by our European expansion. Changing the world by force by anyone is destined to fail in the long term. When humans (all humans) come to the ability to see beyond the material,and consider the betterment of humans as not connected to wealth or power,but to becoming a much different species altogether.

                          People all getting along is a dream I am not sure of living long enough to see turned into a reality. Humans are too selfish and greedy for this change to happen anytime soon.
