Today, for me, is going to be about starting to do things as I have been wanting to for a long time, but not having the energy or the drive to do so. No costumes, no candy (okay, some candy), a bit of talking to the dead, and a small sacrifice given.
I am spending the night by myself this year, for the first time in ... well, ever. So, I just finished making a great meal for myself, and have given over some of the meat I was cooking to the fire as an offering. Later, I will say a prayer in honor of the dead who have gone before me, and to the Gods, and again leave an offering of mead for them.Comment
