Ok,I am in NJ,and tomorrow it is supposed to be 55 degrees F,and possible thunder storm. It is almost the end of December,its supposed to be snowing.

Giving a bit*h slap to Mother nature..What going on mama...No,its not Mamas fault...freaking humans dumping crap into the clear morning air are to blame...

Stop it,just stop it already...

It's looking more like spring than winter here. I actually found a rose bush blossoming in the forest today.

Another Icelandic volcano stopping air travel for a few weeks would do wonders... just a thought.

In the mid-1960s one year it was so warm on Christmas Day, we went and stayed outdoors with no coats on. We were living in Newark at the time. All morning WeatherBug has been harassing my computer with coastal flood alerts. 'Tis indeed crazy.

I was almost afraid there would be no real snow fall this year, but it rushed in on Sunday..

The weather has indeed been warm, and there are little buds on my rose bushes..

I feel cheated of my usual freezing winters. lol

Reporting in from Southern California. The sky is blue to the ceiling! The mountains are full of snow. And it's warm and sunny. Yay! A beautiful high of 78!

A cold low of 58 tonight.

I leave on my bike loving da sun.

I ride home tonight at 10pm with 2 jackets on, a beanie on my head and a scarf wrapped around mah face.

Go figure.

As far as I'm concerned, snow belongs on Currier & Ives and Thomas Kincaid artwork... I'm terrified of snow only because I am not supposed to shovel. I have cervical and lumbar herniated discs, for which I've had surgery. And my driveway is huge (I know... move ). There were snowfalls (anyone remember Feb. and Dec. 2010 and Feb. 2012 in NJ? I do) after which I was able to clean out my driveway, only to find a 3' high wall of snow and ice that the township plows piled up at the end of my driveway. Perth Australia, here I come!

We're supposed to get a dusting of snow on Christmas. It's currently 43f/6c and misting rain. I won't hold my breath.

It's almost midnight and still 5 Celsius outside. Heard the forecast mentioning Christmas snow, doubt it will be around here.

I know. Down here in WV, today it was in the 60s. I so want snow for Christmas. We've only had maybe 3 or 4 snow days so far.

Don't move to Perth. It's not as great as they all make it out to be... and it's full of stuck up Perth people who think that their city is better than everyone else's.

Move to Adelaide instead. Our sky is just as blue, our beaches just as white and our summers just as sunny

Did you forget to mention the poisonous verity of snakes and plants and stuff from down under. Not cutting Oz down as NJ has its own types of dangers,though a lot of them walk on two legs...and some run for office...Just saying...wadaya gonna do?, whatever huh...Bodda bing,bodda boom...

We all got our downsides... but Adelaide doesn't have anywhere near as many sharks as Perth! In general, the southern half of Australia is much 'safer' than the northern half (we don't have crocs at all in the south, fewer species of snakes and spiders and a lower chance of deadly marine life like box jellyfish etc). It's also more temperate and less humid.

But you know all our deadly creepy crawlies are propaganda... not many people actually die from deadly Aussie wildlife. We just like to freak out the rest of the world with them.

And you can tromp around in the woods without worrying about bears or cougars or wolves or coyotes or other big bad predators. Just watch where you put your feet.

Unless you count drop bears. But I wouldn't call them a big bad predator. Smallish bad predator maybe...

No large predators cause all the small ones done killed the big ones off. And really what the hell is a drop bear,I keep seeing reference to them,are they like the bogeyman or something?

It's pretty darn warm here, which is saying something since I was able to do work outside in a shirt, and I was walking on green grass.
