The Daily Ritual for Amun in the temple in Karnak provides a great foundation for a daily offering format. Digital Egypt is a source I can't recommend enough due to its invaluable information for free, and it put together as a teaching resource by the University of London.

Among the formulae omitted in the ritual for Amun on Berlin 3055 (Moret 1902, 229-246), the versions in the temple of Sety I at Abydos include the following at the robing and anointing of the image:

They also have an outline for the Opening of the Mouth Ceremony that I use. They have all sorts of treasures throughout the site.

I have been using Jim Loy's Egypt site recently. Although it doesn't cover ritual or religion, it is more about the language and hieroglyphs, He has a list of the Gods as well as an almost complete king list too. i have found this quite useful.

Would probably be a good idea, i have a few sites i use regularly, but i daresay you guys that have been researching this for a lot longer than i have will have a few more sites that you use as well

A treasure trove of essays that provide a foundation, but I caution against using it as a sole source because many of the articles are written by members of the House of Netjer. They're not bad people or even grossly misinformed, but there are biases to consider.

Ancient Egypt Online - Very basic, but a decent amount of information to help point you in the right direction to look for more detail.


Jim Loy's Pages - i found this one searching for heiroglyphic information rather than mythology. a good starting resource if you are learning to read Heiroglyphs and translate ancient texts for yourself.
